Education and Background

Born at the U.S. Naval Air Station in Key West, Florida and raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, John graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1984. He earned his B.A. from Augustana College in 1988 and his J.D., cum laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1993, where he served as Articles Editor and as a leader of the Moot Court Society.

John is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and he has been admitted pro hac vice in multiple states.
